Red Hill Park & Grant Bazar in Urumqi, China

I took city buses (only one RMB per trip) to red hill park and then the international grand bazar. Hongshan (红山) - Red Hill Park has, among other things, a Ferris wheel, a Buddhist temple and great views over the city. The park itself has a free entrance, yet I skipped some of the paid attractions.

Since I bought too many fake products during my last Chinese trip in 2012, I only planned to look around and not buying anything. I took a free photos at the Da Bazar / Erdaoqiao market (大吧扎) - a traditional Islamic market area and the main Uyghur enclave in downtown. I did tries a piece of dry fruit stuffed with nuts and raisins, and I loved it, so I bought some to take home.
