Food on Chinese Silk Road

In Urumqi, I tried Nang Flat Bread, 
Roasted Stuffed Buns, Xinjiang Kebabs, big plate chicken (大盤雞), pepper chicken (椒麻鸡), many kinds of noodles made by hand and served with lamb or beef, and big plate chicken. In Trupan, I tried  tandir lamb kabob (馕坑烤肉), and in Dunhuang, I tried Yellow Noodles with Donkey Meat (馿肉黄面). Donkey meat tastes like beef but different. The essence of this dish is the sauce, made of mushroom, diced donkey meat, tofu and other materials. I also tried many kinds of grapes, melons, and water melons. I found instant noodles of big plate chicken, red dates yougart (紅枣酸奶), and local coke (非常可樂).
