Last day on the Pamir Highway Tajikistan

Khorugh is situated in a steep river valley surrounded by mountains. It has enough bustle to be interesting but certainly isn't overwhelming. There are a lot of NGOs. Unfortunately, the museum and the bazaar were close on Sunday, so I and Francis only walked to the tourist Information center for standby fights to  Dushanbe, then walked in the Central Park with ice cream, and had a bigger lunch at a river front restaurant, Chor Bagh which was recommended by the Germany cyclists and Lonely Planet; nevertheless, both me and Francis had stomach problems after lunch.

I took today easy, just walked around, looked at the town wrestling tournament, and then cooked my own dinner with TJ instant noddles, eggs, and cucumbers bought from the grocery store, plus two tomatoes given by an old man on the street.
